To date, there are almost 7,000 people who have been treated with Covid-19 in the Vienna Health Association. After a peak of 900 sick people in mid-November 2020, the number of corona patients has been falling for several weeks, the health association reported.
Covid patient in hospital around 71 years old
Just over 300 Covid patients are currently housed in the clinics of the Vienna Health Association, according to a broadcast on Saturday. The ir average age is 71 years. Around 70 of them are treated in intensive care units.

Around 5,000 inpatients are treated daily
Every day around 5,000 inpatients are treated in the clinics of the Vienna Health Association. In contrast, there are now just over 300 Covid sufferers who need inpatient hospital treatment. “Waiting lists for operations that are not urgently needed and that can be planned have now been processed,” it said.
More than 16,000 employees in the Vienna Health Network have received the first Corona vaccination. This corresponds to a share of over 50 percent.
