In the past few days, mail had exploded in the Wild factory in Eppelheim (which produces Capri-Sun, among others) and in the headquarters of the Lidl supermarket chain in Neckarsulm. In Bavaria, the police last intercepted an explosive piece of mail addressed to the baby food manufacturer Hipp.
The first bomb exploded on January 16 at the beverage bottler in Eppelheim and injured an employee.
The next day, three Lidl employees were injured.

The y’re probably fictional. One of the last names is “Merkel”, another “Schwarz” – like Lidl founder Dieter Schwarz (81).

The suspect is a pensioner who has never appeared before the police. He was found by special forces at his place of residence near Ulm (Ba.-Wü.) and did not defend himself against the arrest.
The investigators are currently investigating evidence that was found in the 66-year-old’s house. At the request of the Heidelberg public prosecutor’s office, an arrest warrant was issued and enforced. Now the alleged bomb maker is in custody. He is silent on the allegations.
