Because of Munich going it alone to the next championship! After the 1: 2 in Frankfurt, Bayern’s lead over pursuers Leipzig could shrink to two points. In Gladbach there is no peace after the 1: 2 against Mainz.

Eintracht Frankfurt continued its super series against FC Bayern Munich and brought new tension to the title fight in the Bundesliga. Adi Hütter’s team remained unbeaten in their eleventh game in a row in their 2-1 win against Munich on Saturday. With a win on Sunday (3:30 p.m.) at Hertha BSC, RB Leipzig can move up to two points against Bayern, who already messed up against Bielefeld on Monday.
Borussia Mönchengladbach, on the other hand, is already nine points behind the places that allow access to the European premier class after the 1: 2 against Mainz. A few days after coach Marco Rose announced that he would be moving to Dortmund for the new season, it should remain uneasy around Borussia-Park. Mainz, however, draws hope in the relegation battle through the victory, until the relegation place it is only one point.
1. FC Köln also have to continue to worry after the 0: 1 against VfB Stuttgart. In addition, SC Freiburg lost 1-0 to 1. FC Union Berlin, who scored three points for the first time after five games without a win.
