Berlin – After the seven-day incidence in Berlin had largely stagnated in the past few days, the corona value rose slightly on Sunday. At the end of the weekend, the incidence in the capital was 56.6 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, according to the current situation report by the Senate Department for Health. On Saturday and Friday, the value was still 54.9.
After the value had fallen significantly in the past few weeks, the trend recently reversed. The corresponding Corona traffic light remains on red. It would only jump to yellow from a value of 30, and to green from 20.
The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 2,728 in Berlin.
The threshold for a red traffic light signal is 25 percent.
