Coronavirus – 105,342 reservations for vaccinations in Burgenland

 The  number of people currently infected rises to 578, the total number of confirmed cases is 12,230. Burgenland has had three deaths: an 84-year-old man from the Jennersdorf district, a 64-year-old man from the Güssing district and a 33-year-old man from the Mattersburg district died in connection with COVID-19.

In the hospitals in Burgenland, 50 people with COVID-19 are currently being treated in isolation, nine of whom are in intensive care. 1,238 (+115) people are in officially ordered, domestic quarantine.
In the seven Burgenland Vaccination and Test Centers (BITZ), 133,348 people have so far used the opportunity for free rapid antigen testing for SARS-CoV-2.

Yesterday 37 people received a positive test result, which must now be confirmed by a PCR test. According to the Coronavirus Coordination Staff, 9,705 people have received the COVID-19 vaccination so far, of which 5,951 people have already received the second vaccination dose.

A total of 15,656 vaccine doses were vaccinated. To date, 105,342 people have registered for a COVID-19 vaccination using the electronic reservation system at www.burgenland.at/coronavirus. You will be notified by e-mail as soon as enough vaccine is available for their Group.
