Most of the new cases were reported from the Ludwigslust-Parchim district: According to Lagus, 30 new infections with the corona virus were registered there. In Vorpommern-Greifswald there were therefore 28 new cases, in the Rostock district 22 and in the Mecklenburg Lake District 21. 16 new cases were registered in northwest Mecklenburg and Schwerin; in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen there were 5 and in the city of Rostock 3.

Incidence in MV decreased slightly
The seven-day incidence, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, fell in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Saturday to a total of 66.7 (-0.6). Nationwide, this number is still highest in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald, followed by Schwerin with 84.7, Northwest Mecklenburg (75.0) Ludwigslust-Parchim (70.4), the Mecklenburg Lake District (64.3) and the Rostock district (41.2).
The city of Rostock (22.9) and Western Pomerania-Rügen (20.9) have the lowest incidence in MV.
20,407 people are considered to have recovered. That is 141 more than the day before. According to Lagus, there are currently around 2,262 infected people in the country. 309 of them are currently being treated in hospital, 48 of them in intensive care.
The re were three deaths on Saturday in Schwerin and one in northwest Mecklenburg.
