The seven-day incidence in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania fell to a total of 66.7 (-0.6) on Saturday, but rose again to 67.5 (+0.8) on Sunday. On Sundays and Mondays, the number of infections usually goes down compared to the previous days, because there is generally less testing on the weekend.

Incidence in the counties
The city of Schwerin is in second place with 82.6 infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days (Saturday: 84.7).
In northwest Mecklenburg the incidence is currently 76.9 (Saturday: 75.0), in Ludwigslust-Parchim unchanged at 70.4 and in the Mecklenburg Lake District at 63.2 (Saturday: 64.3).

According to Lagus, the value is lowest in the Rostock district with 43.6 (Saturday: 41.2) as well as in the city of Rostock with 26.3 (Saturday: 22.9) and the Vorpommern-Rügen district with 23.1 (Saturday: 20.9).
The number of those in intensive care units remained constant at 48.
