First screen for the German market from March

In Germany, the Huawei brand is best known for its smartphones.

 The  Chinese company has been in a trade dispute with the USA since 2019 and has largely had to do without Google’s Play services for its newer phones. However, Huawei now wants to open up another market in Germany and bring its first PC monitor onto the market.

First display in Germany with bundles

While the Chinese are already bringing monitors to buyers in other countries, the first device for the German market is to be the Huawei 23.8 ” display. As the name suggests, the monitor will have a 23.8 “Full HD FullView display and work with IPS technology.

 The  brightness should be 250 candelas per square meter.

 The  resolution is specified as 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 60 Hertz.

Huawei promises a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 178 degree viewing angle. With connections, however, it looks poor: an HDMI and a VGA socket should be available.

 The re should also be no integrated speakers.

 The  display can already be pre-ordered on the official website and should cost 159 euros in its standard version, which only includes the monitor.

 The  delivery is to take place from March 22, 2021. In addition to the standard package, the display is available in a bundle with the MateDock 2 for 173 euros and in a further package with the WiFi AX3 for 178 euros.

 The  MateDock 2 is a USB-C to HDMI docking station, while the WiFi AX3 is a quad-core WiFi router.
