Bayer Leverkusen will rub their hands vigorously and 1. FC Köln will be very annoyed once more. On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 there were new values for the Bundesliga stars on Transfermarkt.de. The big winner: Florian Wirtz (17), whose value has literally exploded after moving from 1. FC Köln to Bayer Leverkusen.
- New calculations of the market values for Bundesliga stars
- Most expensive player plays at Borussia Dortmund
- Bayer Leverkusen: Florian Wirtz the big winner
Because the market value of top talent Florian Wirtz (17) is literally exploding and has almost doubled in the last six months.
The transfer fee for the midfielder, whom Bayer took away from Cologne in summer 2020, is currently estimated at 45 million euros; in November 2020, Wirtz was still at 24 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.de.
Florian Wirtz played big in Leverkusen
This corresponds to the actual increase in performance of the U21 national player, who last played big for Leverkusen and scored seven goals in 24 Bundesliga games and put up six more goals.
Thanks to the fantastic performance, even national coach Joachim Löw (61) has the jewel on the list for the European Championship in summer 2021.
However, Wirtz is still a long way from the currently most expensive professional in the league. Because Erling Haaland also increased by ten percent and is worth 110 million euros. Previously, the Norwegian was traded by Borussia Dortmund with a fee of 100 million.
The Englishman is still at a total of 100 million.
Florian Neuhaus increased its value
Another winner of the season comes like the trio from NRW. National player Florian Neuhaus (23) from Borussia Mönchengladbach increased his course from 28 to 38 million).
Thanks to his 17 goals this season so far, striker André Silva (25, Eintracht Frankfurt) has also improved and is now worth 37 million – nine more than before!
BVB talent Giovanni Reyna (from 30 to 38 million euros), Leverkusen’s defender Edmond Tapsoba (from 30 to 40 million) or Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer (from 35 to 42 million) could also benefit from constant performances and increase the values.
Choppy calculations at FC Bayern Munich
The calculations for FC Bayern are rather changeable. Stars like Kingsley Coman (from 40 to 55 million), Leon Goretzka (from 60 to 70 million) or Joshua Kimmich (from 85 to 90 million) increased their value at the record champions and are still the pillars of the Munich team.
Other stars, on the other hand, lost some of their value considerably. Winger Serge Gnabry now only has 70 million instead of 90. Leroy Sané fell in value by ten million and is “only” at 60 million.
Also among the losers are the defenders Lucas Hernandez (45 instead of 50 million), Niklas Süle (37 instead of 48 million), Benjamin Pavard (35 instead of 45 million) and David Alaba (55 instead of 65 million).
