German weather service warns of black ice on Monday

Winter had the Hanover region under control for a week, and it took several days for the snow to be halfway cleared. And now new adversity threatens: After another bitterly cold night with temperatures of -17 degrees Celsius, the weather will change on Monday. What sounds like good news at first, should lead to problems during the day.  The  German Weather Service (DWD) expects rain around noon, which should freeze immediately on the ice-cold ground. He has therefore issued an advance warning.

The refore, everyone has to be prepared for black ice. It would be best not to leave the apartment or house during this time and to postpone shopping until another time. Only in the evening should the rain turn into snow again.
