Maite Kelly in portrait – This is the new juror for “DSDS” 2021

In 1979 Maite Kelly became the second youngest child of the musician family “
Kelly Family“Born. At the age of eleven, the now 40-year-old composed her first song and toured all over Europe with her siblings.  The  family only settled down in the early 1990s when they settled on a houseboat in Cologne.

Together with the “Kelly Family”, Maite Kelly received numerous awards, including the “Bravo Otto” in gold – six times in a row.

Singer Maite Kelly has many talents

After a long break, a high school graduation in the USA and starting her own family, Maite Kelly toured Germany again with her siblings.

 The  musician also appeared in the musical “Hairspray” between 2009 and 2010.

In addition to singing, Maite Kelly also showed other talents: As a presenter of the consumer show “Da wird ich nause” on ZDFneo the 40-year-old became known to the general public. In 2011 she also won the RTL-Tanzshow “Let’s Dance” and brought a fashion collection to the online mail order company “Bonprix”. (THE)
