Gymshark stays one step ahead of the competition with Centric PLM (TM)

 The  UK’s leading fitness apparel and accessories brand Gymshark successfully implemented Centric Software®’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system 100% remotely during the nationwide lockdown.  The re was also a risk of delays and errors as several documents were used by different teams at the same time.

Gymshark began implementing Centric Software’s PLM solution in January 2020. In March, at the beginning of the PLM workshops, the lockdown came. As a result, all training, testing and the implementation of the first phase were 100% remote.

Justine McCarthy, Development Director at Gymshark, comments on how PLM technology is helping the company respond to market challenges: “When another lockdown comes and we have to work remotely, the PLM system will help us share information easily . Annalisa Savio, Head of Development and Superuser of Gymshark, tells how her teams found “comfort” in the PLM system despite the pandemic.

“Everyone found it useful to be able to work on the same platform while working from home,” she says. “Our first go-live took place as planned in May 2020.
