The German tour operator Alltours wants to only accommodate guests with a corona vaccination in its own Allsun hotels from autumn.
The forecasts for summer holidays abroad are also still uncertain. A negative test at check-in will probably be inevitable.
The German tour operator Alltours is now the first company to plan a concept that allows for vacations in its own hotels only for vaccinated people.
Specifically, it is about the hotel brand Allsun, here only guests with a corona vaccination should be allowed to check in. This rule is expected to apply from October 31, the company announced on Friday.
The hotel chain currently requires proof of a negative PCR or antigen test that is not older than 48 hours.
Criticism on the net
However, the concept depends on the course of the vaccinations. Alltours operates 35 hotels under the name Allsun in Mallorca, the Canary Islands and Greece.
“We want to offer all guests the highest possible level of security so that they can enjoy their vacation in a relaxed manner,” emphasized Alltours owner Willi Verhuven in a broadcast.
The re was already criticism on the net. “May Alltours soon disappear into oblivion. Too bad for the employees,” posted a user on Twitter.
Others rated the concept very positively. Alltours boss Willi Verhuven hopes that a safe holiday in many countries will be possible as early as Easter. Above all, he praised the hygiene and safety measures in Spain.
“We assume that in the foreseeable future a safe vacation will be possible again in many countries,” says Verhuven.
