Investigations after a bloody act near Wuppertal before completion

After a man apparently killed his family and himself in Radevormwald, the investigation is almost complete.  The  five bodies were discovered in their home.

 The  investigation into the Violence with five dead family members in Radevormwald near Wuppertal are largely complete for the investigators. But the homicide squad is still working, and the forensic medical examinations continued, said a spokesman for the Cologne police on Sunday.

Police and prosecutors said on Saturday, one day after the bloody act, that a 41-year-old man killed his two young daughters, his wife and his mother-in-law with a knife and took his own life.

 The  motive is probably a failure of the marriage.

 The  investigators had stated that since the Code of Criminal Procedure does not provide for investigations against deceased perpetrators and there were no indications of other parties involved, the death investigation – if there is no further information – will be discontinued.

 The  five dead were discovered on Friday afternoon.
