As feared, offensive engine Andreas Gruber tore the anterior left cruciate ligament in the 2-1 away win at Admira and is absent for the Linzers for at least six months.
The 25-year-old summer newcomer scored the 1-0 opening goal for the guests in the ninth minute, but had to be replaced in the 14th minute because he overextended his knee.
