City also beat Arsenal +++ Inter wins the Milan derby +++ Barça stumbles over Cadiz
Augsburg – Bayer Leverkusen 1: 1
Bayer Leverkusen continued its downward trend in the championship, but was just able to avoid another defeat. In the 22nd round, the works team scored a 1: 1 goal at FC Augsburg with a goal at the final whistle, for which Ruben Vargas played until the 66th minute. Edmond Tapsoba, offensive player from Burkina Faso, equalized. Florian Niederlechner had already scored after five minutes for Augsburg, who in turn missed their first win after three defeats last. For the fifth in the table Leverkusen, the gap to a place qualifying for participation in the Champions League is now five points.
After the 3: 4 defeat at the Young Boys on Thursday, Leverkusen’s Dutch head coach Peter Bosz switched the team to various positions. However, it is difficult to make out whether Bosz wanted to improve the level with the changes or save strength for the march in the Europa League.
Hertha Berlin – RB Leipzig 0: 3
At the top of the table the tension returns thanks to a sovereign 3-0 away win by Leipzig at Hertha Berlin. Julian Nagelsmann’s team lived up to its favorite role in the capital thanks to goals from Marcel Sabitzer (28th), Nordi Mukiele (71st) and Willi Orban (84th) and moved up to two points on leader Bayern Munich. The defending champion lost 1: 2 against Eintracht Frankfurt after a sleepy first half on Saturday.

Arsenal – Manchester City 0:1
Arsenal cannot score in the duel with leaders Manchester City. After conceding an early goal, the Gunners with Granit Xhaka remain pale at 0: 1.
Despite the close result, the guests from Manchester showed little effort in London to bring their 18th competitive game win in a row on a dry sheet. After the Citizens had already taken the lead in the 2nd minute with a header from the English international Raheem Sterling, they brought the game to a successful end without convincing.
Arsenal kept up with the leader after a difficult start minute, but did not come to a dangerous conclusion on Ederson’s goal. In general, the team with the Swiss International Granit Xhaka only showed one shot on goal after the end of the game.
The Gunners have to deal with another result crisis after their home defeat. Mikel Arteta’s team won only one of the last six competitive games. On Thursday in the Europa League, the Londoners did not get past a 1-1 draw despite an oppressive superiority against Benfica Lisbon.
Manchester United – Newcastle 3:1
FC Barcelona – Cadiz 1: 1
AC Milan – Inter Mailand 0: 3
Inter Milan have greatly improved their chances of winning their first championship title in eleven years. Thanks to a sovereign 3-0 derby win against the former leader Milan, Inter set themselves apart from the competition.
The decision in the top duel brought the phase around the middle of the second half. Within nine minutes, Inter pulled away to 3-0 in an otherwise balanced game. Again Martinez (57th) and Romelu Lukaku (66th) scored the goals.
AC Milan suffered another setback in the title race after Stefano Pioli’s team got themselves into trouble and for the championship lead eleven days ago with a 2-0 draw at the relegation-threatened Spezia.
The second leg against Red Star Belgrade is scheduled for Thursday in the Europa League (first leg 2: 2), followed by the game against third-placed AS Roma on Sunday.
