Mario Haas (SP) is repositioning himself

Now it is fixed: Mario Haas is in the state elections in September on the second list of the SPÖ in the Traunviertel and thus the SPÖ top candidate for the Gmunden district. He is taking over from Sabine Promberger, who is running for the mayoral election in Ebensee and therefore ends her work in the state parliament.  The  decision for Haas was made at a meeting of the state party last week. This means that the 28-year-old has a realistic chance of entering the state parliament in the fall.
His entry into the Bad Goisern council is almost certain. Haas was previously a councilor in St. Wolfgang, but recently moved to Bad Goisern, where he moved into his grandparents’ house. Mayor Leopold Schilcher (SPÖ) is not only pleased that Bad Goisern may have a member of the state parliament. He also welcomes Haas’ involvement in local politics. © The  young politician works in the SPÖ’s district office and also works in the team of EU parliamentarian Hannes Heide.
