In neon-colored tracksuits, they stepped from the cabin to the pitch on the shores of Lake Tahoes – as part of a 90s theme week. In the second game of the NHL Outdoors, however, the Boston Bruins were not from yesterday. The y beat the Philadelphia Flyers 7-3 in Stateline (Nevada) in the open air. And the ice rink held up too: the day before, the Colorado – Las Vegas game was interrupted for 8 hours at the same place.
The Bruins decided the game in the middle third (4-0). Man of the Game was David Pastrnak, who put together his 10th NHL hat trick. He scored his first goal to make it 1-0 in bright sunshine and the third to make it 7-3 in the dark of night.
Pettersson lovely, Devils hapless
Pierre-Luc Dubois shot Winnipeg 4: 3 over Vancouver. The Jets newcomer scored for the first time in his third game, but twice, and contributed an assist. The best goal was scored by Elias Pettersson for the Canucks. For Nico Hischier and New Jersey, it was a 3: 4 bankruptcy against Washington.
