Princess Eugenie shows her son’s first photo – that’s the name of the little one
The re is also a cute detail in the picture.
It is the ninth great-grandson for Queen Elizabeth II: Princess Eugenie (30) and her husband Jacks Brookbank (35) have published a first baby photo of their son and at the same time revealed the name of the little one. “We want to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank,” wrote the 30-year-old on Instagram on Saturday. In addition, she provided a small series of pictures showing the proud parents with their son August. The little one is wrapped in a light blue knitted blanket and wears a matching hat. A detail can also be seen in the photo: August grabs his mother’s finger with his right hand and seems to be slumbering calmly.
The Queen’s great-grandson was born on February 9th at Portland Hospital in London. It is the couple’s first child together, who tied the knot on October 12, 2018 in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
First name is homage to grandfather
The 99-year-old has reportedly felt uncomfortable recently and is currently under observation at a London clinic. According to Buckingham Palace, it is said to be a “precaution on the advice of his doctor”.
The prince was not sick with Covid-19, reports “CNN”, citing an anonymous source. He was able to go to the clinic independently.
Princess Eugenie’s son is currently eleventh in line to the British throne. In first place is Prince Charles (72), followed by son Prince William (38). His brother Harry (36) is also currently expecting offspring with his wife Meghan (39), as it became known last week. For the couple it is the second child. It already has a son: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born in London on May 6, 2019.
Duchess Meghan had made public in a newspaper in November 2020 that she had miscarried after giving birth to Archie. In the report, she also criticized that miscarriages remained a taboo subject. Meghan received a lot of encouragement for the report and its openness.
