Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are finally relieved of their royal duties. Now Queen Elizabeth is betting on “the fabulous seven”.
In the video above, our Royal expert explains what the final resignation of the Sussexes will mean and how it will now continue for everyone involved.
Queen Elizabeth relies on experienced royals
Just recently, Harry and Meghan caused displeasure with a sharp response to the palace’s statement. And the announced interview of the Sussexes with talk legend Oprah Winfrey (67) did not seem to please the Queen at all. Now the veteran monarch is relying on members of the royal family whom she absolutely trusts to fill the void Meghan and Harry are leaving behind. The re are seven family members who were shortlisted.
The first two royals are Duchess Kate (39, nee Kate Middleton) and her husband Prince William (38). In addition to the Cambridges, Prince Charles (72) and his wife Duchess Camilla (73) are also part of the party. Like all members of the Royals, Charles is very concerned about the health of his father, Prince Philip, 99, who was recently hospitalized.

Prince Edward and Countess Sophie step into the spotlight
Also in the inner circle of the royal family members, who will soon take on more public duties, are Princess Anne (70), the Queen’s only daughter, Prince Edward (56), the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth and his wife Countess Sophie (56).
Princess Anne is known for being down-to-earth, while Prince Edward and Countess Sophie have worked in the background for the royal family for many years. Now they too should obviously step into the limelight and work together with the others as a “united front” for the British monarchy.
