Musiala is the new shooting star at Bayern: This season he has already played 23 times for the professionals, with his goal in the league opener against Schalke (8-0) he was crowned Bayern’s youngest Bundesliga scorer of all time.

Meanwhile, Musiala is an integral part of the team – he is regularly at the games of the professionals – even if it was not enough for a mission twice recently. For the second team in the third division, he is no longer intended, he made his last game for the Bayern amateurs last October.

The  German-Englishman has been part of the professional training sessions since last spring, and according to coach Hansi Flick, he already enjoys full acceptance within the team. World goalkeeper and captain Manuel Neuer also thinks a lot of Bavaria’s super talent. “No, the skills were recognized early,” replied the world goalkeeper in December when asked whether he was surprised by Musiala’s development: “He was with us professionals after the restart. We experienced everything together in Lisbon. ”

Musiala: Born in Stuttgart, trained in England

Over the past few months, however, a battle has broken out over the only 17-year-old – between the English and German football associations. ©

The  reason: Both want to see the Bayern youngster play in their national team. Musiala, who has English citizenship but was born in Stuttgart, can choose one of the two countries. He moved to the island about ten years ago and was trained at Chelsea FC. ©

The  move to FC Bayern followed in 2019.

Jamal Musiala impresses in England’s U21s

The  tendency was initially clearly in the direction of the “Three Lions”. In the last international break he played for the English U21s for the first time and immediately knew how to convince. In the 5-0 win of the “Young Lions” against Albania last November, Bayern’s offensive jewel was in the starting line-up for the first time and also made his debut in the 36th minute.

England coach on Musiala: “Will be a brutal man”

England’s U21 national coach Aidy Boothroyd also couldn’t get out of the rave after the 17-year-old’s gala. “Jamal was excellent. You can see that he is not yet physically mature, but he will be a brutal man one day. His brain and his feet are the most impressive. He is razor-sharp,” said Boothroyd about his starting XI debutant and clarified : “We want to keep him.”

Löw: “Exceptionally great talent”

Löw recently announced that he wanted to nominate the 17-year-old to start qualifying for the World Cup in March. “He’s an exceptionally great talent, absolutely. He is particularly valued in Germany and at Bavaria. I think he knows one way or another that I want to nominate him. ©

The  decision is his,” said Löw recently from the “Bild” “has been quoted. Now he could have been successful in the battle for Musiala.
