Samsung’s Galaxy devices are expected to receive security updates for four years


 The  Korean consumer electronics manufacturer Samsung wants to spend longer and more regular security updates on its Galaxy devices than before. Devices in the lower and middle class should also be supplied with it for at least four years. Samsung sees extended support as a purchase argument for consumers and an advantage over competitors in the area of ​​mobile devices with Android operating systems, which only offer updates for a shorter period of time.
