Series is to be revived, but this time with a streaming provider

Who would have thought? Well, probably all of them, because one series after another is currently being reissued.  The n why not Criminal Minds too? However, the details of the revival are still very vague.

 The  streaming provider Paramount +, which will inherit CBS All Access later in the year, is aiming for a comeback of the popular and long-running CBS series Criminal Minds. A revival series is in a very early stage of development with the upcoming streamer as opposed to sources related to the project Deadline to report. A creative team is currently being put together.

 The  series ran for 15 years at CBS and was also a great success in Germany.

 The  US series Criminal Minds focuses on a unit of the FBI that deals with behavioral offenders: the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). Above all, BAU evaluates the motivations, weaknesses, fears and intentions of serial offenders in order to foresee their next steps and to be able to arrest them.

 The  mobile team of psychologists, computer experts and criminologists continue the work that the local police and forensic experts get stuck with.

Criminal Minds: Season 15 is available to stream instantly on Amazon Prime Video.

In the original series, Mandy Patinkin as Special Agent Jason Gideon, Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, Thomas Gibson as Aaron Hotchner, Lola Glaudini as Elle Greenaway, Shemar Moore as Derek Morgan, Matthew Gray Gubler as Dr. Spencer Reid, AJ Cook as Jennifer ‘JJ’ Jareau, Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss, Kirsten Vangsness as Penelope Garcia, Rachel Nichols as Ashley Seaver, Jeanne Tripplehorn as Alex Blake, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Kate Callahan, Adam Rodriguez as Luke Alvez, Aisha Tyler as Dr. See Tara Lewis, Damon Gupton as Stephen Walker and Daniel Henney as Matt Simmons.

 The  first episode of the series was celebrated on Thursday September 22, 2005 their premiere. In Germany, the series started almost a year later, on Sunday, August 13, 2006.
