Setback for GAK in the promotion campaign

In the fight for a chance of promotion to the tipico Bundesliga, the GAK suffered a setback on Saturday. © The  Graz team had to admit defeat 1: 3 (1: 2) at Kapfenberger SV and are still two points behind Wacker Innsbruck in fifth place.

Since Lafnitz, Liefering and BW Linz, the first three of the table in the 2nd division, are not allowed or want to be promoted, the Tyroleans have the place that brings a relegation game against the Bundesliga bottom.

GAK decimated in the final phase

In Kapfenberg, Leo Mikic gave the hosts the lead. After Dominik Hackinger equalized after a nice combination (35th) Levan Eloshvili scored the new opening goal with the last action before the break whistle.

KSV back into the lead through Eloshvili goal (45th minute)

Marvin Hernaus fixed the final score in the 95th minute. In the final phase, GAK player Marco Perchtold saw the yellow-red card (87th). With the third win in a row, the KSV improved to tenth place.

In the second game of the day, Dornbirn celebrated a 1-0 (1-0) victory at the FAC with a goal from Tom Zimmerphia (43rd). For the Viennese it was the fourth defeat in a row.
