According to the Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), the 7-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections with the coronavirus in the past seven days per 100,000 inhabitants, is 132 (exactly 132.4) (as of today, 2 p.m.) Clock), which means a further increase compared to the past few days.
South Africa mutation in Carinthia

1,838 new infections
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior have reported 1,838 newly registered coronavirus cases (as of today, 9:30 a.m.) within the last 24 hours. As of today, 8,386 people across Austria have died from the consequences of the corona virus and 420,509 have recovered. The re are currently 1,262 people in hospital treatment due to the corona virus. 257 of these are cared for in intensive care units.

Half a million vaccine doses inoculated
According to the Ministry of Health, more than 500,000 coronavirus vaccinations have already been carried out in Austria, and more than 200,000 people have already been fully immunized. Health Minister Rudolf Anschober (Greens): “Next week we expect the delivery of more than 180,000 vaccine doses, in March more than a million.” In the second quarter, the delivery volume will almost triple compared to the first.
