Once again the rumor mill is seething. A possible event in March and the statement of an insider stir up hope for Bethesda’s new role-playing game Starfield.
Little is known about Bethesda’s new science fiction RPG Starfield. But now there are signs that this could change soon. Apparently Microsoft is planning an event in March that will revolve around the Bethesda takeover, which currently still has to be approved by the EU regulatory authorities. At least that’s what the well-known journalist Jeff Grubb claims to have found out. In terms of content, the aim is to explain the takeover in detail and to comment on the future of the two companies.
Another well-known insider, NateDrake, has spoken in the corresponding Resetera thread. He wants to have found out that there is hope and desire to release Starfield this year. That was the state of affairs at least a few months ago, although it is uncertain what effect the corona situation will have on the development of the game.
The fact that the title has not yet been introduced in more detail would not be an obstacle. Both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 were launched in a relatively short period of time after their official launch. Should there really be a corresponding event on the part of Microsoft in March, we will probably find out whether there is anything to the suspicions. After all, Starfield was already teased in 2018, so there could be something to it from the period.
