The 14th Swiss Music Awards will take place in three days. In addition to the award ceremonies (you can find the nominees in the photo gallery above), there will also be plenty of live acts.
The South African “Jerusalema” singer Master KG, the Hamburg newcomer Zoe Wees and the Swiss artists Zian, Lo & Leduc and Dodo will perform.
Newly confirmed acts were also pop star Beatrice Egli and the band Pegasus.
The latter will open the show at the Swiss Music Awards with a medley. Singer Noah Veraguth (33) does not want to reveal any details to 20 minutes. Just this much: “We will surprise you!”
The Biel native is looking forward to Friday, even if everything is a little different at this year’s edition of the award ceremony. “
The Swiss Music Awards celebrate the Swiss music scene, which has had a tough time in the last twelve months,” says Veraguth. “
The y remind us of the importance of making music and that we all share the enthusiasm and passion for it.”
Beatrice Egli with a homage to Switzerland
“Especially at this time, the Swiss Music Awards are something very special,” says pop star Beatrice Egli. She is looking forward to the exchange with the fans, even if it only takes place virtually and via TV. “Because whether rock, hip-hop or hit – we miss the audience more than ever!”
The two-time SMA winner and this year’s nominee in the “Best Female Act” category will appear as a show act for the first time at the Swiss Music Awards and will perform her current single “Mini Schwiiz, mini Heimat”. “I’m really looking forward to that moment,” said Beatrice.
The Swiss Music Awards will take place on February 26th.
The approximately 145-minute award show can be seen from 8:15 p.m. on 3+. 20 Minuten is a media partner and accompanies the event live.
