What is different about the 4th “ The  Masked Singer” season?

Basically, ProSieben is keeping the proven show concept for the new season. However, the broadcaster announced two changes in advance.

First:

 The  puzzle should become more difficult. In the past, when unmasking, it was often clear who was hiding under the mask. ProSieben apparently wants to counteract this. “We will make the puzzle a little harder for our viewers and for Ruth and Rea,” says ProSieben broadcaster Daniel Rosemann. How exactly this should look is not yet known.

With the second amendment, ProSieben is responding to a long-cherished viewer’s wish:

 The  show will be a little more compact. “For some viewers, their favorite show was too long for a Tuesday evening because they have to get up early the next morning. That’s why we’ve changed the processes a bit so that the shows are a little shorter, ”says ProSieben broadcaster Daniel Rosemann. As usual, the unmasked celebrities have their say in the follow-up show “red”. Both shows should not last longer than 11.30 p.m. together.

What is “ The  Masked Singer” about?

 The  attraction of the show is that nobody knows in advance which celebrity is participating.

 The  VIPs sing in elaborately designed costumes so that the candidates can only be recognized by their gestures and voice.

 The  guessing team and the audience are puzzled and are always busy speculating which star is hiding under the mask. Only when a candidate is eliminated, the mask is lifted and the viewer learns who is behind it.

 The  Masked Singer” included singer Max Mutzke as astronaut, singer Gil Ofarim as grasshopper, comedian Bülent Ceylan as angel, boxer Susianna Kentikian as monster, presenter Daniel Aminati as Kudu, singer and presenter Stefanie Hertel as panther, model Marcus Schenkenberg as squirrel , Actor Heinz Hoenig as Kakadu, actress Susan Sideropoulos as butterfly and singer Lucy Diakovska as octopus.

Mutzke, Ofarim, Ceylan, Kentikian and Aminati made it to the final.

 The  first season was finally won by Mutzke, who prevailed in the final duel with “Tears in Heaven” by Eric Clapton against Ofarim with “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.

In the second season Tom Beck prevailed as a sloth (that’s how the final went). Stefanie Heinzmann as a Dalmatian, Franziska Knuppe as a bat, Angelo Kelly as a cockroach, Rebecca Immanuel as a goddess, Caroline Beil as a robot, Dieter Hallervorden as a chameleon, Sonja Zietlow as a rabbit, Gregor Meyle as a dragon and Mike Singer as a Wuschel were also there.

What audience ratings has “ The  Masked Singer” had so far?

 The  first season of “

 The  Masked Singer” had an average of 3.07 million viewers from the end of June to the beginning of August 2019.

 The  second season was able to seamlessly build on the success of the first season and even increase the average rating to 4.15 million viewers. In Season three the ratings fell a little again, with an average of 3.23 million TV viewers watching the show.
