People with an increased risk of severe corona disease should be the first to be vaccinated in Germany – and those who work with sick and endangered people. This is what the Standing Vaccination Commission recommended. More than three million doses of the approved vaccines have been given to these groups to date. But the countries are free to decide which people have priority within the groupings. Current data from the Robert Koch Institute show that the German federal states are pursuing very different strategies here.
