In public law, there is a lack of women for the big shows. Instead of just referring to Thomas Gottschalk or Florian Silbereisen, ZDF will now send a new presenter into the race for Saturday evening entertainment. As the “Bild am Sonntag” reports, Sabine Heinrich will take on a celebrity quiz on the big show stage. But who is Heinrich anyway?
You can have heard of Sabine Heinrich. Because she worked for 1LIVE, a radio station of the WDR, for a long time as a DJ, switched to the main station WDR2 in 2016. In 2010 she could already be seen at a major show on German free TV. With presenter Matthias Opdenhövel, she presented the ARD ProSieben show “Our Star for Oslo”. At the ESC casting – based on an idea by Stefan Raab – Germany’s last Eurovision Song Contest winner Lena Meyer-Landrut was found.
Heinrich is already commenting on her new job in television. “To be honest, that is an incredible amount of anticipation at the moment,” the 44-year-old tells the “Bild am Sonntag” on record. Also, fear of mishaps, which of course you see more on TV than on the radio – at least for now – doesn’t worry her. “ The n when in doubt it will be even more fun,” the mother of a five-year-old child is sure.
On Sunday lunchtime on Instagram, she shared a press release from ZDF with her 40,000 followers that adorned a photo of her and made her new job official. She writes the hashtag “Can someone pinch me?” For the post.
It is not yet known which show Heinrich will take over. However, it is set to be a major celebrity quiz show, according to the newspaper’s report. A possible start date for the new format on Saturday evening is also not yet known.
