For the sixth time we are giving the MTB-News User Awards and again you voted diligently: With almost 15,506 votes, there were more votes than ever before, in total the MTB-News.de readers had around three weeks to vote to participate in our User Awards 2021. In a total of 25 categories, we asked people to vote on the most exciting products and companies of the year.
The true all-rounders of the mountain bike world are hidden behind the trail / AM bike category. Whether after work, enduro races or crossing the Alps – you are always well positioned with a trail or all mountain bike. No other type of mountain bike manages the balancing act between downhill and uphill as well as this one.
To make participating in the survey worthwhile, there were prizes totaling around € 22,000 from YT, Zipp, Nicolai, Magura, OneUp, SRAM, iXS, Alutech, BikeYoke, DT Swiss, e * thirteen, Lupine, Praep, Radon , Maxxis, POC, Lezyne, Evoc, G-Form, Pirelli, Fabric, Ergon, AMS, Deuter, Continental and Protaper. We would like to thank all participants for the numerous votes and the participating companies for the products and bikes for the raffle – and we present the winners in the trail and all mountain bike category!
Platz 1: Canyon Spectral
8.0% of the vote
The completely redesigned bike was able to convince us completely on the first test rides and you also seem to have loved the trail bike. Because you voted the Canyon Spectral first in the User Awards category Trail / AM bike of the year.
Platz 2: Propain Hugene
5.09% of the vote
With around 5.1% of the votes, the Propain Hugene secured second place in the trail / AM bike category. This result is all the more remarkable because the new Propain Hugene was already in the starting blocks at the time of the election, but was only presented to the public around two weeks after the end of the survey. Congratulations to Propain.
Platz 3: Specialized Stumpjumper Evo
5.08% of the vote
The name Specialized Stumpjumper is undisputedly one of the absolute veterans of the mountain bike scene. In October of this year the popular trail bike got another update. And with that, Specialized seems to have hit the mark. Because not only did we like the new Specialized Stumpjumper Evo very much, the new bike also seems to have made a good impression on you. You voted the Stumpjumper Evo in third place with 5.08% of the vote – it just barely missed second place by just two votes.
