After the away win at Austria Wien last weekend, the East Styrians suffered a setback in their fight for a place in the championship group. In the home game against SV Ried, TSV Hartberg got their first neck blow in the third minute. With a low shot, Nutz scored to make it 0: 1. The Upper Austrians took this momentum with them and set further exclamation points through Grüll (14th) and an offside goal by Meisl (16th). On the other side, Schmidt put the ball over the goal (18th). As a result, the hosts took command. A header from Luckeneder just missed the Innviertler’s goal (24th). Four minutes later, the hosts managed to equalize. After a cross from Gollner, striker Tadic, of all people, was completely in front of the goal. A possibility that he used to the 1: 1 paustand. In stoppage time, Rotter found the chance to take the lead with his head. Ried goalie Sahin-Radlinger was able to distinguish himself with a brilliant parade.
After the break, the game flattened out. Both teams found hardly any offensive actions worth mentioning. In the 83rd minute, SV Ried almost scored the opening goal out of nowhere. After a poke, the ball went over it. On the other side, the substitute Rakowitz could have scored. Subjunctive, and so it stayed with the 1-1 draw.
In the table, Hartberg slips back to ninth position. SV Ried is in tenth place!
