TV game on SRF – If anyone can beat YB, then Servette – Sport

 The  Young Boys scored an average of 2.35 points per match in the Super League this season. Nobody seems to be even close to holding a candle to them, as they are 16 points ahead of second-placed Basel after every 20 games.

Servette doesn’t suit YB

But the Bernese have already lost once in the current championship. Against a team that often gives YB headaches: Servette.

Geneva beat the reigning champions 2-1 in Bern in December. Without this defeat, YB would have been unbeaten nationally for 7 months. Of the 6 duels since Servette’s resurgence in 2019, “Gelbschwarz” was only able to win one (4-2 on matchday 31 of the 2019/20 season).

 The  Grenat won twice and the game ended in a draw three times.

But now the Young Boys climb into the home duel with the Romands with a lot of self-confidence.

 The  city-based team recently celebrated 6 wins in a row – including the 4-3 win against Bundesliga club Leverkusen on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Servette’s shape curve tends to point downwards. Only 2 points could be won from the last 3 duels with St. Gallen (2: 2), Lausanne (1: 3) and Lugano (1: 1). If the Genevans want to remain the YB fear opponent, a significant increase in performance must be achieved.
