u: book sales window starts: Laptops at a special price

Schoolchildren and students can buy cheap laptops and tablets from leading brands from February 22 to March 21.

Every six months u: book offers selected laptops and tablets from leading brands such as Lenovo, Microsoft, Dell, Acer, Apple or Fujitsu at particularly favorable prices. Most devices come with a three-year warranty.  The  extended warranty AppleCare + is optional.

 The  offer includes the new generation of the ProBook 450 from HP with an Intel Core processor and 16 GB of RAM. Due to its light and flat shape, the device is ideal for teaching. u: book is offering it for 749 euros. A curmudgeon comparison shows that other providers offer the device for sale from 899 euros.

MacBook-Models

 The  ThinkPad X1 Carbon of the 8th generation from Lenovo with a surface made of carbon fibers and an Intel Core processor is also slim and light.  The  battery life is up to 18 hours – the price at 1,559 euros. In this case, too, the u: book promotion is the cheapest in the curmudgeon comparison.

In addition, the service of the University of Vienna offers several MacBook models with the new Apple M1 chip for increased performance.  The  13-inch MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of mass storage, for example, has a battery life of up to 20 hours and a Retina display for better presentation.  The  price is 1,427.15 euros. Other providers sell the device from 1,528.99 euros.

Replaceable SSD

In addition to Apple devices, u: book also attracts with Microsoft products such as the Surface Pro 7+. It has additional features like a removable SSD and a battery life of up to 15 hours.  The  device is available for 1,169 euros.

 The  flexible Lifebook U9310X from Fujitsu is also included in the sale, which is offered on u: book for 1,549 euros.  The  2-in-1 device, which can be folded by 360 degrees, combines a tablet with a notebook. On the former, sketches can be made using an integrated pen.  The  slim notebook enables you to take notes in class.

Acer’s lightweight Spin 3 is included in the offer.  The  2-in-1 touchscreen notebook is characterized by an integrated active stylus pen, a long battery life and a robust aluminum housing. Cost: 879 euros.
