Weier Ring helps victims of violence and crime

“Much more dramatic are the psychological injuries, which last much longer and are more serious,” says Susanne Gahler, who is responsible for victim assistance at the Weien Ring Upper Austria, on the occasion of yesterday’s European Day of Victims of Crime.

 The  Weie Ring works closely with the police, “but the victims are often overwhelmed and in a personal state of emergency. Those who contact us are always grateful,” says Gahler. People who have been subjected to violence outside the family can turn to the White Ring. You will receive advice, legal and psychosocial support in court proceedings and your rights will be informed. Immediate help is available around the clock at the victim emergency number on 0800/11 21 12.
