WWE Championship Match announced: Update on The Miz’s reign – No ideas: Murphy and Aalyah Mysterio storyline has been dropped – Carlito talks about his status

–  The  Miz will defend its WWE Championship for the first time on Monday Night RAW next week. His opponent will be Bobby Lashley, who will receive the title chance as a “reward” for helping him win the title last Sunday. We already reported yesterday that

 The  Miz will not be in the WWE Championship Match at “WrestleMania 37” according to current plans, but Lashley will. Also interesting is the fact that Drew McIntyre has not yet commented on the loss of the title.

– According to information from the Wrestling Observer, the Murphy and Aalyah Mysterio storyline was dropped on “SmackDown”. So there will probably be no further explanations.

 The  storyline was simply dropped as the writers had no further ideas about where the romance should have gone. Murphy has not played a match since December 4th last year, when he lost to “King” Baron Corbin. Last week he was with the other wrestlers on his former mentor Seth Rollins’ return to Smackdown, but he was not mentioned. Originally a feud was planned for Murphy at the side of father & son Mysterio against Baron Corbin, Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake, but these plans were also dropped due to the dismissal of Cutler. Aalyah will probably not be seen again in the WWE program anytime soon, as she never aspired to an in-ring career.

 The  Wresting Inc. Daily Podcast about his return to this year’s Royal Rumble, his appearance on RAW and his status. Accordingly, he was only requested for the Royal Rumble Match and the subsequent edition of Monday Night RAW. According to him, there were no discussions about a job as a producer, and, contrary to reports to the contrary, there is currently no further collaboration in the room. In principle, however, he is open to all offers, and he would not be averse to discussions with AEW.
