YB celebrates next victory ++ Lucerne turns game in Lugano ++ Draw in Zurich

Leader YB wins against Servette and continues to pull away at the top, Lucerne also scores three points in Lugano.  The  game between Sion and FCZ ends 1: 1 – but Canepa’s dog is responsible for the big highlight in Zurich anyway.

 The  Young Boys march further away in the Super League. After the 2-0 home win against Servette, the lead over Basel increases to 18 points. An own goal by Steve Rouiller in the 4th minute paved the way for the Young Boys in Wankdorf to win their first win of the season over Geneva. With their triumph over the Gener in the championship, the Bernese squashed the only gap; Gerardo Seoane’s team was unable to win the first two duels of the season.

Lucerne shoots game in Lugano

Behind the Young Boys, the competition is moving closer together. FC Luzern celebrated their first victory in over three years with 3-2 in Ticino and under their new president Stefan Wolf.  The  Central Swiss made up for a deficit twice on the way to success.  The  match winner for Fabio Celestini’s team was Varol Tasar, who came on after the break with a double (81st / 89th) to win.

Thanks to the victory, FCL referred FC Sion, who did not get more than 1: 1 against Zurich, to the Barrageplatz. After an early tour by Luca Clemenza, Fabio Grosso’s team also announced bad luck that Anto Grgic missed a penalty against his former employer after half an hour in the Letzigrund. Eight minutes later, FCZ equalized through Blaz Kramer to make it 1-1.
