19 – All of France now classified as a corona high incidence area

As of today, the whole of France has been considered a high incidence area from a German perspective due to the sharp increase in the number of infections.

Anyone wishing to enter the Federal Republic of Germany from there will now need proof of a negative test result. France has now reached a seven-day incidence of over 300. Areas of high incidence are the middle of a total of three risk categories.

The French department Moselle on the border with Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate remains in the highest category. For those entering Germany from there, there is a mandatory quarantine of 14 days, from which one cannot test oneself.
