For the first time since the beginning of the corona pandemic, there was a big pop concert in Barcelona with 5,000 spectators.
The test event approved by the Spanish government was intended to determine whether larger live events can also be carried out safely under pandemic conditions. Before and during the concert, strict protective measures were in place, which were monitored by a team of doctors. All viewers had to undergo a quick test in special centers beforehand and consent to their data being compared with the health authorities. Only registered visitors with mouth and nose protection between the ages of 18 and 65 were allowed in. During the concert they had to stay in three separate zones, each with their own entrances, bar areas and sanitary facilities.
In addition, according to the organizers, a particularly powerful ventilation system had been installed in the hall.
