19 new Covid-19 infections in Cottbus. Incidence continues to fall


The number of Covid 19 infections confirmed by laboratory diagnostics in Cottbus / Chóśebuz has risen to a cumulative 4,768. That is 19 positive test results more than the day before. The 7-day incidence – i.e. the number of cases within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants – is currently 135.

27 patients in hospitals

184 people who were previously ill and tested positive died (+0) – (all information: as of March 27, 2021, 10:00 a.m.). Current figures on people classified as recovered, currently infected and quarantine cannot be published at the moment. This is due to the effects of a software change that require the data to be compared. We are working on that.

Currently, 24 patients suffering from Covid-19 are being treated as inpatients at the Carl-Thiem-Klinikum, 8 of them in the intensive care unit.

According to the clinic, 3 patients with Covid 19 disease are currently being treated in the Sana Heart Center, 2 of them in the intensive care unit (as of March 25, 2021).

For Cottbus / Chóśebuz, the total number of infections with the British mutation B.1.1.7 is currently 283 (+ 9). In addition, the South African mutation B.1.351 was detected in 4 cases. There are currently no changes here. The values ​​mentioned here are based on test analyzes of the past few days and are already included in the above numbers as positive cases of infection in the above numbers.
