Alpha test starts at the end of March; Video shows a raid on an opposing colony

Frontier Developments announces that the Elite Dangerous: Odyssey expansion PC alpha test will begin on March 29th. As a foretaste, the developers have published a long video that shows game scenes from a raid mission. The video shows a team of three commanders rushing to a military outpost. Their goal: to paralyze the power center and ultimately to incapacitate the opposing faction.
“All three commanders on the invasion team are specially equipped for their assigned roles, selected from the wide range of suits, weapons and equipment available in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. Their tactical equipment gives them an edge in the fulfillment of their respective tasks be it the undiscovered penetration of the base, fire protection in the event of an attack, hacking or the quick recovery of your teammates when they are overwhelmed by enemy units. “

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey will be released on PC in late spring 2021 – the alpha test will begin on March 29th. The release on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One is planned for autumn 2021. Prospective PC commanders can now sign up for the upcoming Alpha through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Frontier Store.
