Former predator owner Joe Exotic (58) is currently in prison for attempted murder. Now his most important support is breaking away. His husband Dillon Passage (22) wants a divorce!
“To answer the main question the public wants to know, yes, Joe and I are going through a divorce,” writes Joe’s husband Dillon on his Instagram account.
Joe was completely surprised by his husband’s plans for divorce: “He is disturbed after he received a call from Dillon in prison telling him that he was planning to leave him,” his lawyer said US-Magazin “TMZ” With.
The reason for the separation is the 22 year long prison sentence of Joe: “As Joe explained it, Dillon feels lonely while Joe is locked up and wants a partner.”
Dillon claims the two broke up on good terms: “This was not an easy decision, but Joe and I both understand that this situation is not fair to either of us. We are still in good circumstances and I hope that it can stay that way, ”said Dillon on Instagram.
Joe sees it differently according to “TMZ”. He is said to be planning to file a divorce petition before Dillon does this.
And that’s not enough drama for the wildcat lover: Joe’s business partner Jeff Lowe (53) had to be hospitalized last week because of a stroke. He claims he was poisoned!
Jeff caused a stir in the Netflix documentary “Tiger King” when he made a deal with Joe Exotic in 2016 and then suddenly took over his wildlife park – which Joe didn’t like at all.
Now both are left behind. Joe is in jail getting a divorce. Jeff recently had to release a large part of his big cats because of the allegation of animal cruelty – and now also suffered said stroke during a visit to the casino with his wife. Jeff’s wife, Lauren, tells TMZ that she found her husband “lifeless and green” in the bedroom after a few drinks. He was immediately taken to the hospital.
“I thought he was going to die,” Lauren recalls. He just escaped death. In the meantime, his life is said to be out of danger, but the cause of the stroke is still a mystery to the treating doctors.
The couple do not rule out the possibility that he may have been the target of a poison attack. Because: Shortly before the stroke, the couple was approached by a stranger in a bar, who finally bought them drinks. After that, Jeff got worse by the hour.
They suspect that something was poured into his drink. “It was just very weird,” says Lauren. However, the doctors could not find any traces of drugs or similar substances in his blood.
They did not say who could be behind the alleged poisoning.
