They preferred to go for it and didn’t care about the corona measures. 35 party-goers met on Wednesday night and made a lot of partying – and noise. Residents on Langgasse complained to the police around midnight, who immediately moved out. The result: the celebration was canceled.
Several patrols were involved in the operation and checked those present. The 21-year-old organizer was fined 200 francs. All other participants received a fine of CHF 100. Then the people left the location, as the St.Gallen city police announced.
Incidentally, it is not the first Corona party in St.Gallen. A celebration was only broken up last week. 31 people were fined. A week earlier, a party with 96 people in an apartment was blown up. However, the parties did not take place in the same place, as the St.Gallen City Police announced at the request of BLICK. The illegal events were each resolved at a different location. (jmh)
