Berlins Health senator Dilek Kalayci (SPD) said she was happy to be able to offer Berliners a test offer. Berlin is thus expanding its test strategy, which has already included hospitals, care facilities and educational institutions, to include testing for everyone.

“Basically, if you have a positive rapid test, you have to isolate yourself immediately and compulsorily have it retested with a PCR test“, said Senator Kalayci. The Berlin test centers provided information on where post-testing with a PCR test is possible.

In addition to the Berlin test centers, a broad network of “Test-To-Go Stations” to be set up. The Senate Health Administration instructs pharmacies to do this, for example.
