In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, 345 new infections with the corona virus were registered on Friday. The seven-day incidence in the state is now over 100. </p><div><span class="location">Rostock · </span>

The seven-day incidence, the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, has risen in MV according to the Lagus and is now 100.4 (+5.5). A week ago the value was 66.4. The Ludwigslust-Parchim district has the highest incidence value with 166.7 (+0), followed by Western Pomerania-Greifswald with currently 124.8 (+6.8). The city of Rostock reports the lowest value with 47.3 (+1.4). The other incidence values: Northwest Mecklenburg with 117.6 (+10.8), Mecklenburgische Seeplatte with 101.5 (+12.4) and Rostock district with 84.3 (+0.9). In Western Pomerania-Rügen the incidence rose to 75.7 (+13.0), in Schwerin it fell to 73.2 (-10.4).
90 new infections in Western Pomerania-Greifswald
Most of the new corona infections were reported in Western Pomerania-Greifswald (90) and Ludwigslust-Parchim (64). 52 cases come from the Mecklenburg Lake District, 48 from Western Pomerania and 41 from Northwest Mecklenburg. The Rostock district registered 29, the city of Rostock 14 and Schwerin 7 new infections.

According to Lagus, there have been 29,511 confirmed corona cases and 843 deaths in MV since the pandemic began. 25,634 people are considered recovered. According to the Lagus, 234 people are currently being treated in hospitals for the corona virus, 60 of them in intensive care units.
