The surrealistic horror puzzler DARQ: Complete Edition from Feardemic and Unfold Games is now available for Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5. In addition to the two DLC adventures The Tower and The Crypt, this version offers options for cinematic and performance modes for next-gen consoles.
The cinematic mode shows DARQ in its greatest visual depth with 4K resolution at 30 frames per second (FPS). The performance mode focuses on a smooth game with an 1800p resolution at 60 FPS. The PlayStation 5 version also takes advantage of the platform’s DualSense feel to heighten the sense of immersion as the player controls Lloyd and tries to escape the loop of nightmares he’s trapped in.
The retail editions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch will be available in the second quarter of 2021.
