Bad stroke of fate for Tom Parker Bowles: As the British “Daily Mail” reports, the 46-year-old son of Duchess Camilla mourns his girlfriend Alice Procope. The journalist died of cancer at the age of only 42.
The woman at Parker Bowles’ side lost the battle against the disease in her home on March 17, according to the newspaper, and fell asleep peacefully. The cancer of the mother of three was diagnosed much too late – in August 2020 – due to the corona lockdown in Great Britain. When the shocking diagnosis was made, it was already “too late”.
The cookbook author is now, according to a friend, “devastated that life can be so cruel”. He was “absolutely happy” with Procope. Parker Bowles has not yet issued a personal statement.
Tom Parker Bowles and wife Sara have been separated since 2018
Prince Charles’s stepson had been in a relationship with Alice Procope for a good two years. He and his wife Sara had previously separated in 2018 after they had appeared together for the wedding of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan in May of that year. The marriage has two children.
Tom Parker Bowles is the eldest child of Duchess Camilla and her first husband Andrew Parker Bowles. He was born in London in December 1974, four years before his younger sister, art curator Laura Lopes.
