Emirates is back in Vienna with the A380

After the airline added the Austrian capital to its flight schedule again last June, the flights were carried out with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Since March 25th and until May 31st, the route between Dubai and Vienna has been operated again with the A380. Emirates currently serves the Austrian capital with six weekly non-stop flights from its hub in Dubai. However, in order to meet the increasing market demand, the airline will increase its flights to a daily flight from Vienna from June 1st. However, doctors are critical and warn that the increased travel activity could also lead to a renewed increase in the number of Covid infections.

Health and safety: Emirates has implemented a comprehensive package of measures at every stage of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employees on the ground and in the air. This includes distributing free hygiene kits with masks, gloves, hand disinfectants and antibacterial wipes to all customers. More information about these measures and the services available on each flight can be found here.

COVID-19 PCR-Test: Emirates customers who require a COVID-19 PCR test certificate prior to their departure from Dubai can take advantage of special rates at clinics across Dubai upon presentation of their ticket or boarding pass. The test can also be performed at home or in the office and provides results within 48 hours. More information on emirates.com.
