From the season opener this weekend, Sky will also be offering comprehensive coverage of all things Formula 1 on free TV on Sky Sport News.
In addition to the offer for the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sky Sport F1, Sky Sport News will also report comprehensively on the start of the season on free TV. This Saturday, Sky Sport News is showing a 15-minute highlight show for qualifying (“Qualifying compact”) at 7 pm. The decision on the starting line-up can be seen live on Sunday at 3.30 p.m. on Sky on pay TV.
On race Sunday, Sky also shows the preliminary reports on free TV. For the first time, there will also be a new section called “Track Check”, in which the racetracks and their special features will be highlighted. “Track Check” will be broadcast as part of the preliminary reports on Sky Sport F1 and also on free TV on Sky Sport News.
After the race, Sky Sport News will show a 30-minute highlight show (“Compact Race”) with a detailed summary of the race from 9 pm. The actual race starts at 4:55 p.m. The race weekend closes the analysis show on Monday at 1 p.m. Moderator Noah Pudelko and Sky expert Timo Glock will analyze and review the most exciting events on the race weekend.
The entire season opener weekend can be seen live in all its facets on the company’s new Formula 1 broadcaster, Sky Sport F1.
