Germany and Italy have a clean slate after the 2nd match day in the World Cup qualifiers.

The German national soccer team also won their second qualifying game for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 3 days after the 3-0 win against Iceland, the team of national coach Joachim Löw won 1-0 (1-0) against Romania in Bucharest on Sunday evening. Bayern’s Serge Gnabry scored the only goal of the game in the 16th minute.

The third group game will follow on Wednesday. Then Jogi Löw’s team meets North Macedonia in Duisburg. Only the group winner qualifies directly for the World Cup.
